CorrectPhoto Frequently Asked Questions

1.  I installed CorrectPhoto (ImageTitler) in Vista and get the following error message: "Could not initialize application. Error 42 (IPM)"

This problem is related to security settings that are possible under Windows Vista. Try running the application by right clicking on the .exe file and choosing "Run as Administrator". This will give you elevated permissions. After you have activated your software, you should be able to run it in the normal way from then on (without the elevated permissions).

2.  When I try to launch CorrectPhoto3 (ImageTitler) on my Vista system, a Microsoft dialog appears indicating that CorrectPhoto has stopped working.

This problem is related to security settings that are possible under Windows Vista. If your computer supports hardware DEP, add the CorrectPhoto (ImageTitler) application to the exception list. More information on configuring DEP is available here.

3.  May I install CorrectPhoto (ImageTitler) on more than one computer?

No, CorrectPhoto and ImageTitler are licensed for a single computer only. Click here to review Single User License Agreement.

4.   ImageTitler fails to start.  What do I do?

ImageTitler has exhibited a start-up failure on a very limited number of   Windows Xp and Vista installations.  The reason is a corrupted DLL in the operating system.  This has been corrected in each case by using the Repair Operating System facility.  This facility is available on the Operating System disc.  Repairing the operating system preserves programs, data and settings.

Disclaimer: PictoColor cannot guarantee that this will correct the problem and, additionally, cannot be held responsible for problems introduced by this process.

5.   Can I buy ImageTitler by itself without buying CorrectPhoto?

Yes, go to the ImageTitler website, http://www.imagetitler.com
